Our story
Over 30 years ago, the family-owned Pepsi Cola Bottling of Corbin purchased a local vending company from Paul Pietrowski, which marked the beginning of Breaktime Vending. Our company quickly gained momentum due to our unwavering focus on customer service and strategic acquisitions, leading to rapid growth. Breaktime Vending relocated to its current location at Corbin Industrial Park in 2004.
In 2010, we expanded into the Lexington market by acquiring Madison Vending and two other vending operators. The acquisition of G&S Vending in 2012 further expanded Breaktime Vending’s coverage, establishing us as the leading vending company in Southeast Kentucky. By partnering with USConnect, a national vending organization, we are able to offer customers special programs, perks, and discounts. In 2022, we expanded our coverage into the Louisville, KY area by acquiring Total Vend, a family-owned business that has been operating since 1960.
Today, Breaktime Vending and Total Vend cover multiple counties in Eastern and Central Kentucky, as well as Northern Tennessee, with three sales and operations facilities. With over 40 routes and multiple micro-market locations, we take pride in our customer-centric approach and offer high-quality break room solutions that incorporate a diverse range of products and the latest technology available on the market.
